HeavyJob provides a forecasting tool that allows project managers to forecast costs and revenues for their projects. This tool integrates with existing HeavyJob data, such as time cards and transactions, making it easier to generate accurate forecasts.

𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝

- Lists all projects
- Can filter projects by job tags or project managers
- Displays totals for forecasted costs, revenues, and profits
- Allows exporting forecasts to Excel

𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬

1. Select Project and View Details
- Click on a project from the dashboard
- View forecasted cost, revenue, and profit totals

2. Review Cost Codes
- Filter cost codes by reviewed/unreviewed status
- Mark cost codes as reviewed after evaluation
- Filter out completed cost codes (e.g., 99% or more complete)

3. Analyze Cost Code Details
- View budgeted quantity and forecasted quantity
- Adjust forecasted quantity if needed
- Review cost details:
- Budgeted cost per unit
- To-date costs
- Previous forecast values
- Budget variance
- Totals (to-date, to-complete, at-completion)

4. Forecast Cost per Unit
- Use project management skills to forecast the cost per unit for remaining quantities
- Adjust the total cost per unit based on analysis
- Changes are automatically saved and reflected in the cost-at-completion

5. Finalize Forecast
- Click the "Finalize" button when done
- Option to make the forecast the active source for performance targets
- Field users (foremen) will see the updated targets in their timecard analysis

6. Review Finalized Forecast
- Return to the Forecast Dashboard
- Finalized forecasts are marked as such
- Operations managers and executives can review completed forecasts

- Column chooser to include desired cost types and totals
- Color coding for total costs (yellow) and unit costs (blue)
